08:30: Our car and experienced tour guide will pick up you at the city center or your hotel in Hue to depart for visiting Hue Citadel. Famous as one of Vietnam’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Hue Citadel has long been a must-see attraction for tourists visiting Hue.
10:00: Continue sightseeing in Thien Mu Pagoda – the oldest pagoda and symbol of Hue city. As a temple associated with the relics and landscapes of the ancient capital of Hue, Thien Mu pagoda is famous and attracts visitors not only by the mysterious myths, but also an ancient beauty serious. Visiting the temple is to forget all tiredness, only peace, relaxation and coolness in the soul.
10:30: Visiting Thuy Bieu Village by a dragon boat on Perfume River. Upon arriving Luong Quan Wharf, you cycle through shady pomelo gardens to the first place of Thuy Bieu eco-tourism village: Luong Quan temple. It is a place of worship of the goddess of the village and is an annual gathering place for the villagers on Tet holidays.
11:00: Visiting a silk painting family to see countryside painting art of the young local artists. The paintings here mainly reflect an aspiration for a peaceful, happy and prosperous life and often depict the animals in people’s lives.
11:30: Coming to learn more about daily life at incense making house, an extra job outside of the agricultural work.
12:00: Take a rest and visit a model ancient garden house in Thuy Bieu. Enjoy a local lunch in the garden. Dishes are made from local fresh ingredients by skillful women.
13:00: You learn how to make pomelo skin jam under the guidance of the house owner. Then
you can do it by yourself and enjoy what you make. The owner gives you a pack of pomelo jam.
13:30: After cycling tour, it’s time to relax your feet with 30 minutes of herbal foot bath and fresh pomelo leaves in the garden.
14:00-15:30: Depart to Khai Dinh tomb, also known as Ung Lang – the 12th king of the Nguyen Dynasty by car. This is the tomb with the most unique architecture among all emperor tombs. Ung Lang has the smallest area but the longest construction, extremely elaborate and time-consuming.
